FosteRing green infrAstruCTure in the ALps
FRACTAL stands for FosteRing green infrAstruCTure in the ALps, i.e. Supporting green infrastructure in the Alps.
It is a transalpine project with several objectives, including experimenting with new educational approaches aimed at introducing innovative ecological concepts in primary and secondary schools, such as Green Infrastructure and Ecosystem Services.
The project was funded by the Alpine Space Programme and involved four partners from Italy (Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Lead Partner), Austria (Business Agency of the Burgenland region) and Slovenia (National Institute of Biology and Triglav National Park).
